Lymington Yacht Haven is one of the most popular destinations on the South Coast giving unrestricted access to the Western Solent. Situated close to the mouth of the Lymington River, the marina offers free secure parking, a bar and restaurant, chandlery, and is only a short taxi ride from the mainline station at Brockenhurst with fast trains to and from London Waterloo. By Car:
From London follow M3 to Junction 13 (M27 West). Take M27 West turn off to Bournemouth then leave M27 at Exit 1 (Cadnam and Lyndhurst). At the bottom of the slip road turn left at the roundabout. At the next roundabout take the third exit to Lyndhurst (A337). On entering Lyndhurst you turn left (compulsory) at the Traffic Lights then get into the right hand lane and follow the signs for the A337 Brockenhurst / Lymington. Continue along the A337 straight through Brockenhurst, over the railway lines and straight on to Lymington. On reaching Lymington at the mini roundabout continue straight on along Southampton Road following signs for riverside marinas which will take you round past the top of town and out towards the Pennington roundabout from where you turn left and continue to follow the signs. The Yacht Haven is clearly marked off Kings Saltern Road.
By Train:
Fast trains from Waterloo will get you to Brockenhurst from where you can either change trains to Lymington Town or take a taxi straight to the Yacht Haven. Visit the National Rail Website for more information.
To walk from Lymington Town station you need to head left past the boat yard and towards the quay. Follow the road out of town passing the Berthon Yard and continue on along the water for a few minutes until you come to the Yacht Clubs from where you can follow the path round to the Yacht Haven. Meeting Place:
As we do not have an annual mooring facility at this marina the berth is subject to change. If you have not already been given a berth number then please check in with the marina reception on arrival and they will be able to help.
For those of you having breakfast at the Haven Bar & Restaurant (by prior arrangement only), this can be found next to the marina reception. You will be met there by your skipper anytime after 0830. The Haven Bar & Restaurant can be contacted on 01590 679971.
